An altered consciousness is a state of which a person may be
in a trance state, sleeping state or drug induced hallucinogenic state. If an individual
is at this form, they are likely to spend most of their time in the second
stage of sleep by which the person experience sleep spindles or that he or she
is undergoing to a light sleep.
