The cell will be affected in the following ways:
1. Biological polymers will not be broken down by the lysosomes.
2. Invading bacterial will not be destroyed
3. Materials taken up through endocytosis will not be destroyed.
The lysosomes is a cell organelles that has digestive enzymes, It is major role is to digest worn out structures and food particles. It also engulf bacteria and and other foreign bodies that are found in the cells.
