To make a line y has to equal something
They give us a equation y - 3x = 2
y = 3x + 2
Then we use the given values of x to find y
when x = -2
y = 3(-2) + 2
y = -6 + 2
y + -4
when x = -1
y = 3(-1) + 2
y = -3 + 2
y = -1
When x = 0
y = 3(0) + 2
y = 0+2
y = 2
When x = 1
y = 3(1) + 2
y = 3 + 2
y=5
