Using distributive property, we get:

3x-9=0
3x=9
x=3

So, x=3. Now that was easy, huh? :)

This one is rather simple: you are going to want to use the Distributive property. So it will be 3x-9=0
Now get your x on one side by itself 3x=0  +9    x=0+3 or x =3 
                                                          3    3    3
