So:

-1≤x-3

x-3>7

Solve each

-1≤x-3

Add 3 to both sides:

-1+3≤x-3+3

2≤x

x-3>7

add 3 to both sides:

x-3+3>7+3

x>10

Solution:

2≤x or >10
