GIVEN:

  • Mass of the car (m) = 6000kg

  • Velocity of the car (v) = 40m/s

  • Linear momentum (P) = ?

We know that as car is travelling in straight one direction we can consider linear momentum (P) acting on the car and it is given by,

=> P = m × v

=> P = 6000 × 40

=> P = 240,000 Kgm/s
