To find the x-intercept you plug in 0 for y and solve.
2x+0+16=0+4x (subtract 2x) 16=2x (divide by 2) x=8 The x-intercept is (8,0)
To find the y-intercept you plug in 0 for x and solve.
0+3y+16=5y+0 (subtract 2y) 16=2y (divide by 2) y=8 The y-intercept is (0,8)
