Answer: (-7/9,4/3)

The y's cancel you have 9x= -7

Divide by 9

X= -7/9

Put in X on first equation

6(-7/9)+2y=-2

-42/9+2y= -2 which is -18/9 so you have common denominator

Add 42/9 to both sides

2y= -18/9 +42/9 = 24/9

Divide by 2

24/9 divided by 2 is 24/9 X 1/2= 24/18

Then reduce 24/18 by 6 answer 4/3
