  • Disagreements and debates on how the government would be governed led to the creation the Federalist and the Anti-Federalist groups in the Parliament.
  • Alexander Hamilton emerged as the leader of the Federalist while Thomas Jefferson became the leader of the Anti-Federalist. They both argued over the nature of government and how it should be governed and opposed each other vehemently.
