Answer Problem 1: 3*(y+4)

Show Work:

1) y = (1/3)*x-4 // - (1/3)*x-4

2)  y-((1/3)*x)+4 = 0

3) (-1/3)*x+y+4 = 0

4)  y-1/3*x+4 = 0 // - y+4

5)  -1/3*x = -(y+4) // : -1/3

6)  x = (-(y+4))/(-1/3)

7)  x = 3*(y+4)

8) x = 3*(y+4)

Answer Problem 2: Y=-7/12

Show Work:

Step 1: Flip the equation.

7/3 x+4=y

Step 2: Add -4 to both sides.

7/3x+4+−4=y+−4

7/3x=y−4

Step 3: Divide both sides by 7/3.
