2(x+2)+2x=4(x+1)

1.) distributive property

2x+4+2x=4x+4

2.) combine like terms

4x+4=4x+4

3.) subtract 4x from both sides to get

4=4.

Because 4=4 is a true statement the answer is infinite solutions. Hope this helps!!!!
