Over the past few years there has been a renewed focus on male masculinity as reports over abuse, harassment have emerged against powerful men in a variety of industries. This movement to report has been dubbed the #metoo movement because of the pervasiveness of the abuse against women in all walks of life.
As a result, more attention has been placed on how and why men are programmed by society to treaty women and themselves.
