To find the tax amount, you would multiply $57.60 by 0.075 (7.5% in decimal form).

[tex]\$57.60\times 0.075=\$4.32[/tex]

The tax for this meal is $4.32.

First you would have to get 7.5 and move the decimal to places to the left which would give you .075.

Than you would 57.60 by the taxes thats getting taken out (.075)

The problem would be $57.60*.075= $4.32

$4.32=B
