You have to put the parentheses like this:

[tex] (85-4) \div 9 \times 10[/tex]

In fact, you have to perform the operation inside parentheses first, and then proceed in order:

[tex] 81 \div 9 \times 10 = 9 \times 10 = 90 [/tex]
