A 2 1/2 foot by 12 foot concrete wall is to be built using concrete blocks. Find the area of the wall.

Answer : The area of wall = 30 foot²

Explanation:

Length of concrete wall = [tex]2\frac{1}{2}[/tex] foot

Breadth of concrete wall = 12 foot

Since, area means product of dimensions so we use the formula mentioned below:

Area of the concrete wall = length× breadth

 [tex]2\frac{1}{2}\times 12\\=\frac{5}{2}\times12\\=\frac{60}{2}\\=30 \text{squared foot}[/tex]

So, the area of wall = 30 foot²
