Q+N=65
.25Q+.05N=10.25

Q=65-N
.25(65-N)+.05N=10.25
16.25-.25N+.05N= 10.25
-.20N= -6
N= 6/.20= 30
Q= 65-30= 35

Answer is 35 quarters and 30 nickels
