Prokaryotic:
1-10 microns smaller cell type
(very small)
no major organelles
(when you hear it has organelles, think eukaryotes almost every time)
simple
(much simpler than eukaryotes because prokaryotes are usually a single cell)
Eukaryotic:
10-100 microns; larger cell type
(definetely larger than prokaryotes because they have more complicated organelles to make room for inside)
complex
(can do a lot more than prokaryotes can)
major organelles
(huge difference)
Both:
cell membrane
(both have this for a cell border)
cytoplasm
(it's like a liquid to hold everything, both have it)
nucleic acid
(EVERYTHING ALIVE USES DNA, and that's what NA stands for)
ribosome
(this is used to make proteins. They both do this)
